It's the LAST WEEK of Learn to Skate classes before Holiday Break!
Proceeds from skaters performing in additional numbers this year will be donated to help a local charitable organization - Alternatives for Girls (AFG). We will also be collecting item donations to drop off to Alternatives for Girls as part of their holiday gift-giving program - "Project Giving Tree" ....We've been told that their biggest need is kids clothing and coats. Attached below is the Project Giving Tree Donation Drive List for your convenience.

Wake up and skate :) Make working on skills and drills FUN by doing them with your skate friends. We try to keep things interesting by rotating between edge class drills, power skating, figures, intro to ice dance, and you never really know what we might work on each week. If you are looking to get additional ice time in, practice some skills and drills, meet some new skate friends (and maybe even learn something new!), please feel free to join in the fun! Skaters are responsible to pay for the hour of ice time utilized, plus $4 for snacks/refreshments afterwards. Double check the home page (under freestyle ice) to see what we'll be mixing in each week!
SAVE THE DATE for our own version of "March Madness" - an entirely OFF-ICE seminar emphasizing the importance of dance in the development of a skater's coordination, balance, agility, and flexibility. Fine - tuning these skills will help to make general skating and transitions between elements appear effortless.

We met some new friends at the rink to celebrate National Skating Month,
and helped them discover the magic of skating.
THANKS to everyone who came out to ring in the New Year with us, working some on-ice skating drills. It was so nice to see some new faces join in on the fun!
Stay tuned for details on our next monthly special session "Jumpin' January!"
